Tamara who was working the front desk went above and beyond to help us get into a room early. My husband is handicapped and I had a meeting I needed to attend. She got us in and I made my meeting, while my husband was able to rest. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff were very friendly. Will return here again!!

Nice somewhat above your typical HEI facility located in what appeared to be mainly a residential area. Facility well maintained. Being a Platinum rewards member it was a very nice touch to see a welcome packet of candy and a greeting from the General Manager upon arrival. Beds were comfortable, room was very clean and bathroom was very clean. Ample parking with a few spaces at lobby level and the majority under the building.

Breakfast is your typical HEI breakfast in a nicely decorated breakfast area with ample seating. Unfortunately the coffee was barely luke warm every morning. Limited restaurants in the area but the front desk recommended the bar across the street for dinner and this was a great recommendation.

We were visiting the San Francisco area and this location sure bets the outrageous prices in town and it's less than an hours ride and gets you closer to the Napa area. Would definitely recommended this location and will return when in the area.

Room cleanliness: very clean
Bed: comfortable
Pillows: 2 soft, 2 firm
Bathroom cleanliness: very clean, walk in shower
Towels: soft and clean
WiFi: interment
Television: good selection of channels
Refrigerator: yes
Microwave: yes
Staff: nice

Dear Ed,
First of all I want to thank you for be a IHG Rewards member as Platinum we try to go beyond to recognize you for your loyalty. We are glad to know that the location of our hotel was convenient for your visit in the area, Benicia is the middle point for most of the attractions that are in the bay area. I'm sorry to hear that the coffee was not as hot as it should be, personally I like my coffee to be very hot in the mornings, I will make sure I bring this to our breakfast attention.
Once again thank you for staying with us I hope to see you soon!

Sincerely
Dulce Prado

I was here six nights and had some issues with my stay. The first room I had was on the first floor and I was pleased with its spaciousness. High ceilings and ceiling fan was great. Bed was great. I had a fine time until 6:30 in the morning when the pipes started banging. It seems when the upstairs water went on the pipes vibrated which was very loud. I went to the front desk and Cindy was very apologetic and offered to show me a room upstairs where that shouldn't be an issue. I moved into 202 after breakfast and hoped that was the end of it. Well, the pipes didn't bang, but the next mornings shower was lukewarm. I just couldn't make it any hotter after fiddling with it. It turned off about halfway around and then on again and I was uncomfortable with wasting water so put up with it. The next morning the water wasn't even warm and I complained to the front desk (also Cindy) and she promised maintenance would look at it while I was gone for the day and make an adjustment in that one night. I checked the temp of the water when I returned that night and it was ok, not hot but not uncomfortable. My feeling is this place is suffering from age and needs a facelift. The walls are paper thin. I could hear the guy next door snoring and the tv blasting into the night on the other side which Cindy couldn't do anything about. My room was on the fifth street side which had a lot of traffic so if you stay here ask for a room away from the street (there are only two floors and my first room was away from the traffic). The breakfast was a disappointment and below average for this chain. They were out of many items like cartons of milk, bread choices, and limited fruit. The cheese omelette (that's what the sign said) turns out to be some kind of diced up meat product? I think. The sausage was gray and unappealing. The breakfast person was MIA most mornings and when I asked about something (like the salsa I had three mornings and the was gone) he said it was on order, along with the milk and bagels. Very poor planning. I plan on returning to this area but will look for another place to stay.

The location is close to downtown Benecia. Many people might prefer to drive in but regular walkers could do it easily in 15 minutes. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. On the downside, the towels were worn and grey looking. The other down point was the breakfast. This admittedly is based on my personal preferences, but the institutional eggs were not edible and the coffee was bitter. The two ladies working in the room were pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is situated close to the road, but it is well soundproofed. The hotel's free parking which can easily lift you get to the lobby. Quick check-in. At the reception you can enjoy free lemonade, eat cake or apple. Rooms large, nicely furnished, clean. Big bed, very comfortable. Well active cooling. Big bathroom, clean, equipped with personal hygiene. Breakfast is very tasty, varied. Hotel worth to him to stop would recommend.
