Yes it was a deal but that did not stop the friendly service nor the fabulous food! We started with a spicy but not mouth burning dip and naan bread, a great start. We shared a chicken tikka and a lamb shish kebab just enough for an entree without overfilling for the main course. The chicken was tender and the lamb was spicy. The main was a beef vindaloo, but was asked if he wanted a medium or hot which was a nice touch and it was delicious served with fluffy rice and great garlic naan bread. I had the chicken korma and it was wonderful! Tender chicken in a rich flavoursome gravy with just enough spice without being overbearing. We finished with a melt in your mouth galum julip! Yum yum yum! The waitress was so very friendly and efficient! A great night out!

We purchased an 'all you can eat' groupon voucher for 4 and had a great night laughing about how terrible this place is. So turned out all you can eat isnt actually all you can eat but order one dish and eat it before you order another one (fine by me) but if i wanted something else i had to wait for the rest of the table to finish theirs. Then it was one dish at a time per table!? What a joke. The food was so average. There was no lights in the toilet and had a bucket to keep the door open. The dessert was revolting and we left totally disappointed that we made our friends drive from Gawler just for that!

We dined here as a family of 4 and found it to be awesome value. Service was good and facility clean with Indian music playing. The food was excellent with nice flavours, we had Onion Bhaji, lamb sheesh and Tandoori chicken for entrees. They were generous servings and a good starter. For mains we had butter chicken, Pumpkin spice Chicken and Beef Korma with Rice and Naan breads. A very filling meal had in a family friendly environment.

Despite the negative reviews this eatery (an Indian restaurant, despite what its name may lead one to think) has received, it really is worth trying. It may not be much to speak about "decor-wise" (and the mannerisms of the waiters/waitresses could be put down to cultural influences and not meant to be taken negatively), but the food offered is way above the average oily, creamy and overly spiced indian food one is accustomed to in surburbia Indian restaurants. Having both eaten at and taken several take-outs from the Olive Green Kitchen, my family and I can vouch for this establishment. While I cannot comment on any coupon deals, I can, however, rate this restaurant 5 stars for the quality of its food (I should know, I am Indian), 3 stars for its decor and found no trouble with mannerisms from staff and give them 4 stars. As for quantity and price, I see no difference between this restaurant and any of the other better known restaurants of similar calibre in Adelaide, and hence give it 4 stars.

We could have handled our plates being dirty to start off with but the night only got worse.
We bought a voucher on deals.com.au for $35, all-you-can-eat and we definitely got less than what we paid for. Stated on the voucher "...all mains also include unlimited rice and naan bread", When we asked for more rice and naan bread we were told that we had to pay if we wanted more. The waitress had also not specified this at the beginning. When we started ordering, it was only then we found out that there was a limited amount of dishes, 8 to choose from - the voucher made it sound like there were "more". We felt the menu for us was extremely limited. Not what you would typically call all-you-can-eat.
Once finishing our first lot of main, we asked for another lot and were made to feel very unwelcome and judged. We were having a discussion about what to order next, the waitress decided to turn back around to tell us "can you guys order everything now?" This made us feel like we had to rush our decision and came across in a very rude tone. When we ordered our last lot of food, she asked "is that all?". It felt as if she didn't want us to order anymore food and serve us.
