We had a coupon deal for 3 courses for $39.
Entrée we had the battered spiced fish, it needed salt but after putting some on it was quite nice. The batter crispy and the fish moist, I generally don't like fish so that was a good start for me. We also had the chicken tikka which was tasty.
Only issue with entrée was we were not given any cutlery and could not get anyone's attention so at with our fingers.

When the mains come we asked for cutlery, and the waitress did look surprised that we had none.
Mains were lamb vindaloo, unfortunately not a great deal of heat. We also had beef madras, the meat was tender though we asked for extra spice and there was none. The dish was quite sweet.

Dessert was galem jubba, very small serve and we also had mango ice cream which was lovely.

Overall for the price it was good value as it includes naan, rice and wine but the service was extremely slow, it took 2 hrs for all our dishes to come out.

We dined at the olive green kitchen with some family. We booked in advanced and when we arrived it appeared this want necessary or noted as we got guided to any table.

When ordering my wife asked for Tandoori chicken, which we were informed want available? Interesting start at an Indian restaurant.. I then asked for the lamb, same response..

45 mins later we received entrees...

A further 45 mins later we received our mains ...

Service was very slow and not overly attentive, we weren't asked if we wanted drinks after our first round and when meals were brought to the table it was a little awkward and uneasy as we fumbled over whose dish was whose.

Overall, for 4 people it was a bit over two hours, the food itself was fresh and nice although nothing incredible compared to many others in Adelaide, but service and atmosphere was greatly lacking.

We have been here numerous times over the past few years and the current owners have exceeded all others. Decor has improved, with the staff explaining all the handiwork on walls and reasons behind it. Hygiene and cleanliness has improved 100%. The food was tasty and good sized portions. Will definitely be returning in the future.

We ate at the Olive Green Kitchen tempted by a coupon deal which seemed to offer very good value - two three-course meals for $39. However the whole experience was disappointing. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy but spartan in atmosphere. The background music was Spanish/Mexican light-listening which didn't create the most sympathetic ambience for eating curry and naan.

The waitress was friendly but seemed new to her job. Service was generally slow even though there were only three tables occupied and we watched food congeal under the hot lamps on the serving hatch, waiting to be taken to the tables.

The food itself was pleasant without being remarkable in any way though the portions were generous and we were given both rice and naan. There were only two choices of dessert - gulab jamun and Indian ice-cream and having ordered the first of these, the waitress returned to say that it was not available.

We noticed that the other two groups of diners were all using the coupon deal. The meal was undoubtedly reasonably priced for what you got but I would rather pay a little more for something better.

This one of the worse Indian restaurant we have visited. Atmosphere, food and service was very poor. There's nothing good about our experience, it was a dark and dirty looking restaurant, took 1 hour to get our entree and the food could not be compaired to the other Indian Restaurant we've been to. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone...
