I'm not much of a "reviewer" and don't post like this often. But when you experience a place and a group of people that are on another level, it is hard not to share.

This was our second trip to Bermuda and the Loren. This past trip we spent a week at the property, which really allowed us to get to know the people at the hotel and experience everything there was to offer.

In addition, we had a 'car' (Twizy) for most of our stay, and we were able to travel to many of the other major hotels on the island.

Hands down in terms of design and overall creative atmosphere, The Loren is tops.

Amenities are perfect. Great restaurant, literally on top of the ocean. Pools, beach, cabanas, etc.–all that you would expect from a luxury hotel.

The location of the Loren is a short ride from Hamilton and St Georges. It’s pretty centrally located to everything in either direction. And since it's not right downtown, it affords a quiet and relaxed vibe.

We used the concierge, the restaurants, the gym, their onsite Twizy services, in-room dining, their local seasonal dining events–really everything they had to offer and we were not let down once.

There were groups of all ages celebrating everything from babies to birthdays. There were families and couples and larger groups. I think the hotel really could accommodate any type of travel party. It is on the quiet side of things, so perhaps would not work well for larger groups looking to 'rage'. : )

I don't know what else I can say. I never thought I'd be such a Bermuda fan and such a raving fan of the Loren–but now I'm a huge fan of both.

My wife and I really enjoyed The Loren during a recent 4 day stay. Room overlooking the ocean was one of the best we have ever had from all over the world. It was our 43Rd wedding anniversary and the entire staff helped to make it special

Special shout out to Maria in the Concierge staff who helped me order 43 roses and had them in the room at check in. Also want to acknowledge Nico and Hunter of the pool staff. They constantly anticipated our needs and provided terrific, special service.

The food at The Loren is outstanding all thru the day….including poolside.

The hotel arranged our departure PCR Covid test on site and made sure results were back on time.

Tips: ask for a room above the pool. A handy elevator takes you right to it. You can informally reserve pool chairs by asking the team to put books on your preferred spot. The ocean front seating fills fast. It takes about 30 minutes to order a cab…so plan on that.

The Loren was special….highly recommend it

My husband and I decided to splurge on our first post-Covid lockdown trip. The Loren did not disappoint. The balcony overlooking the ocean was a real treat. We spent every day poolside overlooking the ocean. Snorkeling was decent from the shore. The staff were uniformly professional and helpful. We will definitely be back!
