This was my second visit and everything was just as good as I remembered..Good breakfast, friendly and knowledgeable hosts and a charming house. So relaxed and comfortable that you don't want to leave. The area itself is full of surprises and there is lots to do.

Have just returned from an excellent visit to Soller. This hotel offers a perfect mix of comfort, friendlyness and good service. For people like us who hate driving on holiday is was ideal. The local transport is good. There is a wooden train to Palma which would not be out of place in a western and a useful tram service to the port. The small town square with bars and restaurants is nearby but not too near and there is a first class restaurant very near the hotel. (very good value for high end cuisine). We like walking and the local area provides dramatic mountain paths which are well marked. (Matthew gives good advice). Extremelly popular at this time of year with walkers and cyclists. (tour de france types). Temperature was just right and very sunny. I have not visited Mallorca before and was surprised at the picturesque charm of the area; orange and lemon groves, hillside villages and views of the Med.

Room Tip: We were at the back of the hotel and had a mountain view but other guests were pleased with their rooms

This is a great place to go visit. The British couple who run it are very welcoming and helpful if you have questions about hiking, transportation, dining, etc. They have a great local knowledge of the island and especially the Soller area. The rooms are elegant, luxurious and clean.

Nina and Mathyou, the owner of the house, are really nice people and very helpready.
The underattitude with them was always very funny.
It was a big joy there one week to stay.
The whole house lies for spanish circumstances very calm. Over that out is the indirection absolutely tasteful.
Soller self is a loveworthy city, of whose city core man is not wide away.
It is a excellent exit point for walling.

We would again come!

We spent 4 nights here in October and had a really enjoyable stay.

Great location, lovely old townhouse, great hosts, great breakfast.

Just saying a place is brilliant isn't the whole point of a review so I've also highlighted a few very minor niggles or areas for further development ( as we say in management), one being inevitable when putting en-suite into old town houses, the rooms become a bit compromised on space and functionality, no real room in our bedroom to sit other than on the bed, however the entrada (entrance hall) offers a nice alternative social space. There was a bit of evidence of mozzie rage, so we went to the nearby Eroski store and bought a plug in mosquito killer for €6 and had no problems at all. A/C would have been nice, however for us in October it wasn't a major problem. None of these were other than minor niggles indeed they apply to most other hotels/B&Bs' in Soller town.

Mein host Matthew is a friendly chap and a good source of local knowledge, he put us onto Ca'n BoQueta restaurant nearby which is another hidden treasure.

We would be happy to recommend Bougainvillea for anyone seeking a sophisticated B&B in a great town.

Room Tip: Rooms at back are away from the main road.

Thank you for coming and for taking time to write a review. Just an inform to let all our reviewers and guests, know, that we have installed super duper new windows/door windows on all our streetside facing bedrooms over winter 2012. We can now claim to have the quietest streetfacing rooms in the whole town of Soller (incl private residences and the other hotels).... as told by the builder who installed them.....!!
Aircon is more of a ligistical nightmare with the townhall and where to put the exterior boxes, which are not allowed to ´´float´´ with hinge structures on the exterior walls......
