Just returned from weekend at this hotel with my husband and had a lovely stay. All staff we met were very professional and friendly and really seem to value their guests. We requested a room with a river view and we got one with a small balcony. Great for the fresh air and people watching! The room was very comfortable as was the bed. There is two restaurants in the the hotel and we ate in the Alomo on the first night and the Moorings on the second. Both serve top quality food and although both places very busy, this did not affect the service in any way at all and staff were happy to chat and explain anything you asked about the dishes. Many thanks to Ann on reception who had remembered me mentioning when I booked that it was my husbands birthday that weekend. The chef wrote happy birthday in chocolate icing around his dessert plate which was a lovely touch. The leisure centre is very good and I had a very peaceful swim and sauna. Staff at centre also excellent. Breakfast is one of the best I have had in any hotel. Buffet with lots of fresh fruit, juices, cold meats, cereal, etc. Your order for cooked breakfast is taken at your table and again the food is top quality. This was my first visit to the Riverside and hope to get back there in the not too distant future.

Room Tip: Ask for room facing the river and you will have a nice view and a balcony. The steak in the alomo is...

Dear 542 Shelley,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post you glowing review.

I am so thrilled you enjoyed your stay and that you were impressed by the facilities and service you received particularly from our attentive and friendly staff especially Ann who went the extra mile to ensure your husband’s birthday didn’t pass without being acknowledge.
It is great to get such response from our luxurious pillow top mattresses as they add a plush softness to the underlying firm mattress and are proving to be a great success in providing an excellent night’s sleep.

We value all our guests feedback and it is rewarding to read of your terrific comments regarding our freshly cooked to order breakfast and our wonderful selection on our buffet table. Each of your comments will be passed onto our Executive Chef and the rest of the team here in the hotel.

I sincerely look forward to welcoming you back to The Riverside Park Hotel and Leisure Club in the near future. Please contact me directly so I can personally assist you with your reservation.

Kind regards

Just home after 2 night weekend stay at the glorius Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy. Situated in a completely unspoiled part of Ireland, The Riverside Park Hotel is perfectly located on the banks of the river Slaney. The staff are very courteous, very knowledgable on everything this beautiful part of the sunny south east has to offer, whether its a family break or a relaxing getaway you desire. From the moment you enter the beautifully designed hotel reception & stairways, to the dining areas, leisure centre & the bedrooms, the one outstanding feature, is the cleanliness of the entire Hotel. Well maintained & spotless. TO THE MANAGEMENT & STAFF, A HUGE THANK YOU. We will definetly be returning again very soon.

Room Tip: judging by the courteous staff on reception, i personally would take their advice on roon recommenda...

Hotel is a gem ! Spotlessly clean, comfortable modern room but not bland, spacious big lobby with loads of character & comfort, with a guests stay in mind, easy chairs & little area's with couches, lovely big bar with views of the river, extremely friendly staff never short of advice on where to go or things to do & you feel they get to know you,as demonstrated by the barman remembering our drink on our second night ! Restaurant (both of them are very different but equally as good) is really out of this world, fresh, home cooked food with a difference, nothing feels or tastes like it was bought it as so many hotels do, service was a little scattered the night in the restaurant but to be fair the local blond manager seemed very young & inexperienced ( a waitress admitted to us she didn't usually work the restaurant) although she was very nice, it was also very busy that night and the staff recovered well, the location of the hotel is just so peaceful & beautiful, i can see why its popular for weddings. the town itself is lovely for a walk around too, small but perfect for the few days we were there. Managers are very visible also, the owner/General manager Jim (not sure which he is as I did hear it is a family hotel) spoke to us twice and was very warm & chatty, My only downfall would be the price, seemed a tad expensive but I didn't mind too much as the stay was so nice, I would recommend to friends & stay again, also for family guests its perfect as there is a little playground practically on site.

Room Tip: ask for a river view room & shop around for best prices.

It is great to get such positive feedback from our investment over the years. In recent years we have had a number of transformations including the total refurbishment of the Banqueting Suite and it’s dedicated reception area, The Reception Foyer, The hotel’s main entrance along with refit of all bedroom en-suites and installation of top of the range beds throughout the property.

I certainly look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel in the future, so please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any assistance with your reservation.

My wife and I have attended this hotel for at least 6 wedding including our own. My wife is from this part of the world but I am not.

i have to say that over the years the following comments and observations have been made consistently:

** The food is excellent
** Customer service is excellent

The Hotel is very comfortable and it is always a pleasure to attend weddings and social functions here. Rooms can be a little small but he Honeymoon suite is just amazing.

Gym and pool in the basement are a nice addition and very well kept.

It is no wonder this hotel has 2-3 if not more weddings a week.

Room Tip: Honeymoon suite all the way!!!
