My Children loved this, we met in the Stadium at Pushkar, not really having a clue about where we were going, but the Camels were waiting and we walked out around 5km to the Desert Camp - the nice thing was we keep passing other camps as ours seems to be a further out than others - we loved that.
Once at the camp we were offered dinner and then a local gypsy dancing show, where we were made to join in, it was only us (albeit 7 people) but really fun.
The key however to the whole thing was the way we were looked after, Camels are dangerous, but we felt totally safe all the time, each one of us was accompanied and the saddles were not at all uncomfortable as we'd been led to believe.
All in all thoroughly recommended, a true experience of the old school variety...More
