This savitri temple is on the top of Ratnagiri Hill which is in pushkar. This hill is around 1-2 km from lord brahma temple.

If you are coming from ajmer, just take a mini bus to pushkar which stand just outside ajmer railway station gate. Which cost you Rs 20. From last stop which is pushkar ,Ratnagiri hill is around 3km which you even cover just by walking. Inbetween you can cover pushkar lake and lord brahma temple which is only 1 in the world.

Ratnagiri hill where you'll see Amazing view, i just loved this place. (Check pictures attached with review) Avoid going in rainy session, best time to visit this place is after 4pm. Take water bottle and food. You can have it on the way or on top of the hill.

There is no entry or exit fee. You need around 2-4 hours to cover it.

The hike to this place is a bit tedious but worth it. Go before the sunrise and enjoy the tea you get at the top. It an experience you should try and get in during your stay at Pushkar

Go up the climb for sunrise. The view is amazing up there. The climb will get you blood pumping a bit. When we were there there was a cow that lives at the top and monkeys around. Good entertainment (but monkeys are everywhere). The temple is nice with a great spot to sit and look out at where you staying.

Savitri temple, as it is popularly known, is in fact devoted to three Godesses, Sharda, Savitri and Sarasvati. It sits at a spectacular location in Pushkar, on a small hillock, from where you get a beautiful view of the town and the surrounding plains and hills.

The hike up to the temple takes half an hour to one hour and is thankfully devoid of any shops or stalls; there is open, sparsely forested area all around. It is best to visit it early morning, and be there at the top when the sun-rises. The sun-rising from behind the hills, and then the sunlight slowly illuminating the town and the plains, looks beautiful. An added advantage is that during the wee hours, there is no crowd!

There is a tea/snacks shop at the top and the best views can be had from inside the temple-complex. When I visited(Dec 2013) construction work was underway for a cable-car, which was planned to be in place in two years’ time. I believe that even after the ropeway becomes functional, nothing will beat an early-morning hike to the temple! :)

This was actually the best thing I did in Pushkar, heading up the hill for sunrise.

The temple itself can be seen from any rooftop restaurant in Pushkar, and immediately as I seem it I knew I'd have to explore.

Myself and a friend set off from the hotel one hour before sunrise. The walk was pleasant in the cool morning and well lit.

The view and pictures were incredible and we stayed there for at least an hour. Be sure to head into the temple itself for the best views. The little cafe also provides great Chai to start your day off.

Highly recommend getting out of bed early for this gem!
