The most perfect location to stay overlooking the lake in Pushkar. It is relaxing and homely, the staff are very accommodating and the rooms and rooftop area are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Would definitely recommend

We arrived at 6 a.m. at the place. And we were welcomed like kings! The mother of the owners (a lady and his brother) opened us and gave us place to rest, thick blankets included. She even made us masala chai (ginger tea). Later, after the early morning rest, we got a “room with bathroom” on the second floor in that beautiful old building. I suppose all other rooms were smaller and without running water or toilet. But still, the facilities are proper and clean. The terraces are beautiful and invite you to rest, overlooking the terrific ghats of the lake! Very early morning (05:00h) the religious ceremonies start and do not think you could sleep on... so: off you go to pray - or, at least, respect the believers. Refrain from taking pictures of those who bath in the holy water (which looks dirty, but is still: holy). The hotel offers a wide range of meals, esp. at dinner time. Before going to dinner join the religious ceremonies and be a part of incredible India!!!

we visited this hotel with a big group. the family was very accommodating. place is clean but basic. the location is great. a lot of the rooms are actually overlooking the lake. food is cheap and good. power cuts infrequent but hey it’s india, if you can’t deal with it you shouldn’t be in india in the first place. beware of the monkeys at breakfast, they gang up on you to steal your toast...

This is the BEST place to soak up the magical atmosphere of Pushkar. Watch life on the ghats from the balconies or listen to chanting, gongs and singing.

The family who run it are so friendly and made us feel very safe and welcome. They keep the whole place very clean, even the shared showers and toilets.

We were lucky enough to have room number 1 and it was perfect for us. Clean, comfy, amazing views and a bit of privacy as it's separate from the other rooms. There is lots of noise from the temple next door but we loved hearing the singing. But do bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper!

We hope to stay again.

nice to have a room with character but would take the a/c option as the fan room gets so hot that the fan struggles to cope. Pleasant family run place with no thrills but breakfast was good (if a bit on the slow side) and of course if you get a room with a view than you are made. It's very noisy at sunrise if that bothers you. good for backpackers.
