I'll admit it, I wasn't a huge fan of Pushkar. The hopper vibe got too much for me and the girlfriend shopping everytime we left the guesthouse drived me crazy however staying at Milkman made it so much more barable. In fact I didn't want to leave as soon as we did because of Anil (the guesthouse owner). He is such a sweet guy and so entertaining. We got him involved with games of Ludo (the number one game in India at the moment), he was showing us magic tricks, he was just a sound guy that made the stay very enjoyable. The food was lovely and the guesthouse was really cosy. The rooms were small but cute and the garden area on the roof had a spectacular view. And the price for a double room was exceptional. The only reason I would be coming back to Pushkar would be to see Anil and stay at Milkmans.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at milkmans. Comfortable dorms with great views and clean bathrooms. Beautiful shady rooftop with grass and heaps of plants everywhere! Staff are friendly and helpful and great cooks! No shortage of windows in the restaurant and the menu is very well priced. Easy to find, just follow the signs, well situated a short stroll from the centre. Nothing to complain about!

We were coming to Pushkar for holi festival so we booked this guest house maybe one month in advance to avoid pay a lot of money or end up without the room. We received confirmation email also reminder email few days before our reservation. When we finally arrived to Pushkar at 8pm after 16 hours travelling they told us they don’t have our booking. They were quiet rude saying is not their problem etc...ok can happen, so we asked if they have available any room they said no - everything fully booked. So we sat down and started looking on internet for different alternatives After 5 minutes some magic happened and they had few free private rooms and completely empty dormitory room for 10 people, they tried to sell us this bed for 1800 rupees per night per person it wasn’t even room, just 10 beds upstairs on the balcony.
Our original booking was private room with bathroom for little bit less than 3000 rupees per night for both of us . Even if we showed them confirmation email they said they don’t care , after they lied about fully booked place but than magically lot of free expensive rooms? No thank you!
We will never try to come back or recommend this place to anybody!

MilkMan Guesthouse is cosy and homely. The staff are friendly and helpsom, and it`s so nice to take to them. The restaurant is dekorated just Like the rooms. It`s absolutly a perfect place for people traveling around. The food is good and you can get a lot of different thing. The rooms are nice, beatifull decorated, and in all proces. At the rooftop you can relax and just carm down. We have tried other place in Pushkar, but MilkMan Guesthoust tales the 1.price.
