The hotel is basic, breakfasts are included in the price, but are extremely poor, the swimming pool has no water, beds are very rickety, the staff is very helpful.

Dusty, tacky and Yucky! Just not a place if you are expecting even 10% decency in your stay!

We booked this place(unfortunately) for a stay over our first anniversary and turned out to be the biggest mistake we made in the past 1 year. The first room which they said was reserved for us was full of dust, with fome sheets instead of mattresses on a dilapidated creaky bed and two dirty blankets, bathroom with broken mirror, and a toilet that must not have been cleaned since god knows when!
We Immediately demanded another room, and the next one one bit better, but still tacky (The toilet must had been cleaned a week back and the bathroom mirror had not fallen off).
The so called Manager showed us another room, still a degree better but said we can have it only next morning. It was 2300 hrs already and was too late to go find another hotel, so we had to compromise.
Our woes did not end there. Entire night the loud and noisy staff was busy howling out to each other as some group checked in at wee hours of the night. We had made up our mind to find another place first thing in the morning.
We did just that, and honestly, we found 10 times better rooms and service all across Pushkar at the very same rates.
Only advice to everyone: Please suggest this place only to your worst Foes.

Room Tip: You still wanna know. Ok, the more floors you climb, the worse it gets. Stick to first floor if u ju...

We arrived during Mela, so there were an extra 40,000 or so people in town. Now that they have gone, and the town is quieter, we have gotten to know the family, staff and friends of Hotel Oasis over time. As a result, getting to know the village of Pushkar, and India has been much more fulfilling.

We have been able to attend a family wedding, tour some of the local sights, learn about the history and religion of Pushkar as we spend time here.

The hotel and staff have been wonderful to accommodate us. We have given them some unusual requests and they have helped us at every turn. Each staff member has been kind and helpful, and we have been able to sort out all kinds of issues that come up with traveling, such as illness, documentation problems, dietary requirements etc. in a very short time.

Though the hotel is a bit tired, and dust seems to be an issue all over India from what I have seen the staff continues throughout the day to clean.

Traveling with computers, CPAP machines, and other electronics has been an issue in most hotels, since there is not a lot of electrical outlets. After 3 attempts in a day, they found something to help with our issue.

Being on the main road right near the bus station makes getting around easy. It doesn't take long to get to restaurants, shopping and other businesses. We have experienced services such as the barber, masseuse, and tailor show up here, rather than have to go out to find them.

I highly recommend this hotel, and am looking forward to the changes that they have in mind for the future.

Room Tip: There are different levels of rooms. AC or no AC. Some rooms are larger than others, but we asked...

An old 1970’s hotel, tired and in need of modernisation. It has Indian electrics and a coat of paint slopped on. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi range restricted to restaurant area, swimming pool was suffering from something and not temptingly clean. All room equipment worked except a very dirty refrigerator. This hotel is a nice walk from town but 2 km from Mela ground. Hotel looked best at night, hiding behind a curtain of coloured lights.

This is a very nice hotel just on the edge of town so you are not in the chaos of the main bazaar. We were there during the Pushkar camel festival and it was pretty quiet until the end with the all night mosque chanting started. There is a nice pool and breakfast (toast & coffee) is served on a balcony overlooking the street scene. While the pillows are hard as rocks, the beds are quite large and easily fit my both my two small daughters and myself.

The owner/manager is very helpful and can organize day trips and transportation at very fair rates.
