This is a heritage property of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development. It was built in 1935 by Lala Amar Nath Sood...bought by Maharaja of J&K Sh. Hari Singh...who sold this to the Government of Punjab...who handed this to HPTDC.
You can see the Dhaluadar from this property. The small lawn/ garden in front is excellent value for money as you can enjoy your evening tea out here. The room was extremely well maintained and very clean. The staff is very helpful. They could always offer non spicy food for my son. There is enough space for car parking too.
The location is away from the crowd but sufficiently near the market to reach walking. However the walk back has a very steep section that will leave you out of breath at times.
