We enjoyed looking here at all the local history of how the town became important and became a naval town. There was no charge but you were asked to give a donation.

This is one way of learning about Simon`s town history and its fun. it is for all age groups and can be done as a family or on your own. There is a lot of things to look at and you could spend the hole day here as there is just so much to learn.

The museum is lovely and offers a great history of the area. The exhibits are interesting and the curators are really friendly and willing to answer any questions. A great stop in this little town

Was pleasantly surprised by the amount of material in this bay-side village museum. Has variously themed rooms around which the material is organized. It can be a quick visit or a serious study depending on your preference. In a historic building dating back to 1777. Parking on site. Has a small gift/souvenir shop.

This museum shows you everything regarding the navy and much much more. Very informative! Easy to get lost in all the history and beautiful displays. I recommend this to be one of your stops when in Simon's Town.
