“Beautiful scenery, fab food and lots to see and do, as well as relaxing!”
Reviewed 16 March 2014 for a stay in July 2013

We had a fabulous ten days in Bansko with 2 under 5's - kept them entertained with trips to the thermal pools, local parks and rambles into the woods. Scenery is very beauitful around the complex. We took a small paddling pool and there's plenty of room on balcony off 2nd bedroom for this, or on the grass outside. Roman ruins were worth a trip en route to a couple of days at the beach in Greece (take a sunhat and water to the ruins as not much shade). Apartment well stocked with useful local info and recommended restaurants, as well as menus for delivery for a lazy evening. Easy walk down the hill into the town, with restaurants and bars close enough, but far enough away that the resort is very, very peaceful. Kids enjoyed the electric cars set up in the main square, and the ice cream shop :). The town became very busy and vibrant during Jazz Festival - the main square hosts numerous acts and there are lots of stalls to wander around. We hired a car direct from the complex to stock up at nearby Lidl's, as we had to have some earlier nights with the children and cooked in the apartment several times. Complex staff very helpful and aprtment was spotless. Would highly recommend and look forward to going back for a ski holiday next time.
