Trip of a lifetime!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 14 Jan 2020
What a wonderful trip! I cannot give this Lodge enough stars. The owner, Sebastian, is very envolved with day to day operations and wants everyone to have an enjoyable trip. He goes out of his way to accommodate you. The food is gourmet +. The fishing guides are so knowledgeable about the history o Chile, and so experienced in fly fishing. Each day was a new adventure. I loved every minute of this trip!

My husband and I stayed for a week at Cinco Rios Lodge. Sebastian and his staff took care of our every need. The property is lovely with wonderful views of the mountains. The food was delicious and great wine abundant . And of course the Fly fishing was amazing. The guides are top notch, knowledgeable and enthusiastic . So many different waters to fish. Love the region and the Chilean people.

Cinco Rios is a fishing lodge in Patagonia. Sebastian his staff and guides went out of there way to make sure that you felt at home. The scenery was beyond word the and waters we fished were like nothing I have ever experienced. Unfortunately several weeks after I got home I got news of the lodge burned to the ground. The good news no one was injured and they saved all the guests personal items. They were able to relocate the guests and didn't miss one day of fishing. They will finish the season and I'm sure the lodge will be up and running like before.

If you like to catch lots of trout, absorb beautiful scenery and enjoy a beautiful lodge, put Cinco Rios on your Bucket List! Sebastian and his wife, Kitty, and all the staff were welcoming and accommodating. The fishing guides were professional, knew where the fish hide and created gourmet lunches on the water shores. We will return!

Returned last week from our stay at the Cinco Rios Lodge. Could not have been better! The lodge was beautiful, staff courteous and helpful, and the food and wine delicious. Sebastian our host, was welcoming and genuinely concerned with meeting all of our needs. And of course the fishing was FANTASTIC! The guilds were professional and very helpful. Landed many fish is some of the most beautiful places.
Can’t wait to go back again!

Everything about Cinco Rios is top notch, from the friendly and attentive staff, to the facilities and food. When you go all the way to Coyhaique and you have a limited amount of time it's important for things to go smoothly and to maximize your fun and adventure. These folks do not disappoint. We went as a group of 10 through CT based Angling in the Andes outfitters and we enjoyed fantastic fishing and outdoor rafting. Guides and drivers are all experienced and safe. We caught loads of fish both large and small. This was my 7th time to the Balmaceda/Coyhaique area so I have some experience myself.
