If you are traveling on a tour in these parts you'll probably take a short break on this spot. Nothing special: overpriced average souvenirs, street juice vendors (this was good although I do not know what it was!), for a short while there was a live music (very good actually but unfortunately they stopped after 2 songs) and what I liked most - very good murals.

This 5-sided town square is a nice place to walk around, see the vendor stalls and venture onto some of the side streets to find restaurants and shops. We came here as part of a tour off of our cruise docked in Puerto Chacabuco. Frankly, the shore excursion was overpriced and we were a bit disappointed in this area as it had been billed as something really special.

It seems that the plaza is the place to walk around and do some shopping of local goods. The place had a few folks enjoying the afternoon of a holiday. There are coffee shops and restaurants around the plaza. Views of the mountains are beautiful.
