everything was great, the room, the in-hotel restaurant, and room service. we planned for one night, and ended up staying for 3. as rock climbers, we were especially welcomed, and even invited to go to the local crag with the owners son. highly recommended
We stayed here for two nights and the receptionist is well customer orientated. The rest of the staff can really learn from him. He speaks English very well and advised us some good restaurants. The room is very nice and breakfast is ok.
I had the pleasure of staying in this family run hotel on three separate occasions whilst exploring Chilean Patagonia north and south of Coyhaique. It is a charming establishment with a welcoming and homely atmosphere. The rooms are spotlessly clean, warm, well appointed and we had nice views. The common areas and restaurant are also delightful and breakfast and dinner on site did not disappoint. It was lovely to be greeted by friendly hosts each time we returned and all staff were helpful and attentive. I really liked being able to serve myself a cup of tea in the lounge and the owner even noticed that I preferred a large cup and went out of his way to provide one without me having to ask. Location wise it is easy walking distance to the town centre but also far enough out to have a quiet get away feel.

The reception area is very welcoming with plenty of comfortable seats. Good restaurant with reasonable prices and decent food. I had the merluza, a generous serving. Staff are helpful particularly the receptionist. Downside is the rooms are very basic but comfortable. The room I had warmed up with the afternoon sun and remained too hot to sleep in. Only one small window for ventilation and no air flow. Might be a good set up in winter but uncomfortable in summer.
We stayed here 2 nights around a backpacking trip in Cerro Castillo and found El Reloj to be a great bookend. Location is a close walk to the central plaza, but is off main commercial streets. Great view of the reserva nacional coyhaique across the river canyon from the restaurant area (food at restaurant is also quite good). Comfortable beds as well.
