Our group booked two rooms with different experience. I enjoyed mine but my friends had problems with their AC and toilet. Not much of a discomfort since we spent most times outdoors anyway.
They have a private beach which spans more than 1km shared by various other hotels. It felt very private and peaceful since most tourist were there to sunbathe and relax. No need to worry about boats or beach goers being rowdy.
I wished they had better food at breakfast, selection were mid range and eggs were not cooked to perfection - wanted to eat half boiled egg but it turns out full boiled, both mornings i wanted them. Coffee served was at room temperature, could not dilute the sugar added. On the up side, lotsa tropical fruits, yogurts and even sashimi for those who prefer them.
For my muslim friends, there are halal restaurants nearby the hotel, though not walking distance (we had own transportation since it was a roadtrip).
