Bit rough round the edges but great service and fantastic place to relax and enjoy sea sand and good food. Great little beach with a big one at Marari to the north. Chaps in the restaurant area were most helpful at all meal times

Stayed here for two nights and had a very relaxing time. We had a beach fronted cottage which had great views across the beach and the sea. The room is pretty basic and nothing like the overhyped pictures on the website. But everything worked fine - air conditioning and hot water. Dinner is good. Orders taken beforehand and comes to your table as soon as you sit down. First night it was freshly cooked but second night it had obviously been hanging around a bit and not so hot or fresh. The hotel organised our taxi back to the airport which was an early 4 am start and all went to plan. For the price this is great value and so can overlook the minor issues. Nice walk along the various beaches -no problems encountered!

We have just spent 4 nights at La Plage. We have a great stay. A lovely place to chill after you have had a busy sight seeing tour.
We had two adjoining double rooms for 4 adults. Comfortable beds , great air con and murals on the walls . The bathrooms were covered but open aired . Not as plush as some hotels but large and had everything you ask of a bathroom. Only criticism was lack of space for clothes. A few draws would have been good.
The staff were friendly and helpful. It was my birthday whilst I was there and the staff managed to find a bunch of roses for me and created swans from towels.
Food was excellent.
The beach in front of the hotel was clean and as seen on the photo. A few fishermen work from it from time to time. The sea can be rough but we managed to swim most days.
They have been putting up a new fence and painting exterior whilst we were there. The garden is tended daily and the sand areas raked.
Overall we loved it and would be happy to return.
