After a busy week of travelling around Kerala we wanted somewhere to relax for the final 3 days of our holiday and we were not disappointed! Marari Dreamz was perfect. The accommodation itself was fabulous. There are four rooms each with their own private terrace. We stayed in the room on top of the main house which has a large balcony, en suite shower room, very good air con and was very clean and comfortable. The pool area is also stunning But the real selling points of Marari Dreamz are the hosts Allwyn and Jency, their amazing hospitality and Jency's delicious cooking! As soon as we arrived Allwyn gave us lots of information about things to do and was really helpful in organising a boat trip for us. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt really at home. We had breakfast and dinner every day on our balcony and the food was incredible! Each meal different. Huge platters of fresh fruit, banana pancakes and omelettes at breakfast and a wide variety of curries, pickles, rice and home made breads for dinner. On our last night Jency made Dosas which I was dying to try and they were superb. The local beach is a short 4/5 minute walk away and what a treat it was to find an unspoilt white sand beach that is palm lined without a building in sight. Its a great beach for swimming, long walks or just soaking up the sun. We left Marari Dreamz with some great memories but also a feeling that we had made some great friends and we are looking forward to visiting Allwyn and Jency again some day.

What a find! This wonderful homestay tucked away near Marari Beach run by Allwyn and Jency is better than home from home. From the minute we walked in to the moment we left we felt a warm and friendly welcome with true Kerala hospitality. The Cashew villa we stayed in was a very large room with En suite shower and toilet facility which was partially outdoors (but with walled privacy). It was glorious to shower under the stars. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and plentiful, real home cooking. The pool was clean and perfect temperature. We borrowed the bicycles to watch the sunrise and the beach mats to go to a gorgeous clean beach 5 mins walk away with warm sea and terrific sunset. We cannot wait to go back!

We had a great stay here. Rooms and are spotless and well-equipped. The staff and proprietors are very friendly and helpful and work very hard to make everything great. Breakfast and dinner served to your terrace is excellent - and lots of it!

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our tour of Southern India, and don't think we could have chosen a better place to unwind. Allwyn and Jencey were so helpful from the moment we arrived right up until our 5 a.m departure, where he was up to help us with our bags. They arranged taxis, tuk tuks, and a traditional ayurvedic massage for all of us at a house just up the road, plus transport on the back of his scooter...It was great to be able to cool off in the quiet pool and to relax on the private patios, but best of all were Jencey's wonderful breakfasts and dinners, matching the quality of the best hotels. Don't miss a visit to the local beer shop (!), and shopping with the locals in Mullakkar. We had a wonderful time, thank you both, and we hope your dog is soon back on 4 legs.

Having traveled here two years ago and seeing the further construction and new pool added ( and dreaming about Jency’s food!), I knew I had to return. I was in Jaipur and made a special trip to come down for 2 nights ( that is all they had open.) It was worth every rupee and much travel time. What they have added is extremely well done and each room continues to have complete privacy. The added bonus- the pool! Fabulous! And last but not least- Jency’s fabulous meals and constant smile( and Allwyn’s constant desire to make sure everything is comfortable and needs met.)
A perfect place to rest your head and have perfect “Dreamz”! Thank you. Until next time...
