Visited in Nov 2020 with friends and family.
The location is approx 1.5 hours south of Kochi, and 2+ hours from Kochi Airport...so it’s a popular staycation resort for Kochi residents.
The property is large and very open. The cottages are well spaced out. In addition, the beach is accessible directly, and it’s a very clean and empty beach...with only local fisherman visiting the location.
All rooms are spacious with outdoor showers and small patio areas. However the Deluxe Pool Villa is worth the extra spend given the access to a large private pool, and the extra space, which is welcome in a post Covid world. Some of the rooms are refurbished and are preferable vs the older rooms...so request that on booking/arrival.
We ate all our meals at the resort, and the food is outstanding. The chefs excel at Southern Indian cuisine, but were equally comfortable catering to our requests for Chinese, Italian and other cuisines...given our extended stay at the location. Just ask them and they will deliver. Everything was exceptional, but I must highlight the lovely ghee roasts, the grilled seafood, and parotas.
Alcohol is not available at the restaurant due to local laws, but can be ordered to the room.
The food is complemented by fabulous service at the restaurant, and all our myriad requests were catered to well.
Overall, it’s a very enjoyable location...we were not able to utilize the spa, pool or the sightseeing...Visited in Nov 2020 with friends and family.

Overall, it’s a very enjoyable location...we were not able to utilize the spa, pool or the sightseeing tours due to Covid, but I am sure they would have done a good job. Bicycles are available to ride to nearby Marari Village or around the area.
Some parts of the property do suffer from disrepair, and some of the service can be polished up more to reach super luxury levels, but one will leave happy and relaxed post a vacation here.
It’s a 4.5 star review for me, but I bumped up to 5.More
