Excellent hospitality by Rahul and his family. They were very sweet and helped us a lot since we had kid.
Very near to the beach and calm.
Rooms we clean enough.
Food was also good.

We arrived tired and thirsty at Marari Bluewaves to be warmly greeted by Rahoul who spoke excellent English. He and his brother showed us to the cleanest room we have had in our 2 week stay in Kerala. Coffee making facilities were available in our room and a large case of bottled water was purchased at our request (12L for 180r)
Our bed was very comfortable and air- con & fan made the first siesta welcome and effective.
Home cooked food is tasty, vegetarian ( as requested) plentiful and various.
Beach very close, sun beds and parasols provided free by Rahoul and Sharon. Nearby fishing boats are interesting, beach bars, a restaurant and other facilities just 10 minutes walk.
Marari Ayurveda Panchakarma Centre gave restorative foot massage... 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes tuk-tuk ride (arranged by Rahoul).
Our host family are friendly and incredibly hardworking. I intend recommending this homestay to friends visiting Marari Beach later this year.

Thank you to Rahul and his family for his warm welcome, we had a great stay at blue waves. At the end of a path straight on breath-away beach, Nice guesthouse with local cooking if asked for dinner. Very friendly owners
We had an absolutely fantastic stay here, we originally meant to stay for 2 nights but loved it so much we ended up staying for 8 nights! The rooms are lovely, the hospitality was perfect. The beach is absolutely beautiful, the best place we went to in India. The hosts will cook all your meals for you if you want that and the fish is caught fresh every day. If you’re thinking about staying here - stay here!
A delightfully rustic home stay run by a wonderful local fishermen family. They go the extra mile, help with transportation (picked us up at 1:30am!) and provide breakfast and fresh delicious dinner at a reasonable price. This included fish from the father’s daily catch. We loved everything. While they share other activities that are available, they don’t push anything on you so you can just relax if you so choose. Wander down a short path to the beach and watch the villagers fishing lifestyle. The beach goes on for miles and had very little people on it when we were there. Highly recommended, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.
We had called one Mr Rahul, of marari Blue waves asking for rooms, whgich he agreed to give us. Based on phone conversations he said that we dont need to pay any advance to book. The day we left by train, we just dropped him a message to say we are coming, he drops in a message stating May i know who is this.It was utter disbelief, once we told him he apologised stating he forgot to book in our name and gave it to someone else. This cant be more shocking while your seated in the train on going to a holiday. He later said he will put us in a place closest to the beach. This Rahul was a real cut throat. He put us in a place which had a good view of people sitting pooping just outside our room . We left the place immediately, i suggest people read this review before confirming their stay as this Marari Blue waves.... Place is nothing great, a fishermans village where you need to be careful than you dont stamp on human poop. The place is a total rip off.
