Our bathroom was quite deteriorated as water came out of the underside of the washbasin, the shower leaked and gave a very wierd spread of water. Other than that, the room was ok and the best of all is probably the central location and the price. Wifi was fine and reception thereof everywhere. The personel was friendly.

Room tip: Better check your room before you accept it....

The hotel seems to be operated for 2 generations now. The rooms met the standard if you need to sleep, spacy enough for family, a bit of privacy, and bathroom inside. AC works well, TVs aren't LCD -- but you don't need it if you're just gonna use the rooms to get rest.

The best part of this is the price, got IDR 200k per room/night. The range is 175k to 250k. Really afordable (cheap enough) considering it's location in the downtown of Banda Aceh. It's perfectly across Rex Penayong -- food square that opens until late.

The frontdesk officers are really helpful with tourism informations, traffic, directions, and luggage.

Dirty rooms both dirty bed linen. When I pointed out that my "western toilet" doesn't have a toilet seat he just said : ah you're in 22. When I asked him to fix it or let me change rooms he just laughed. Very rude staff and a very dirty atmosphere. I can not recommend this place to anyone as there is lots of nicer places next to it in the same price range.

Simple hotel right in the center of town, spacious, own bathroom, clean and quiet. Restaurants nearby. ATM also nearby. Becak just in front of the hotel, goes also to the airport, 4 US$. The center of town can be explored at foot.

Stayed here for 1 night on way to sabang and found it cheap and well located. Plenty of eating options a stones throw away. Rooms slightly grubby but acceptable as backpacker accomodation. Was perfectly happy to book another night on return transit but was given a room on the right side as looking into the complex. These rooms were so unbearably noisy from traffic behind that I wouldn't stay in them again. This hotel is in a decent location and is walkable to the tsunami museum, memorial sites etc but make sure you get a room towards the back of the complex and most certainly to the left!
