This title is completely based on my experience in the month of June where you will not find any snow in phase 1. Breathtaking Gandola ride to phase 2 which is around 15 minutes, some awesome views and clear snow - you will cherish these your lifetime.
Since this was rush period, queue wait was as high as half an hour for phase 2, both arrival and departure. Would advice you directly go to phase 2 and if you want , you may visit phase 1 later.
Some tips,
- hire a guide (not more than 600 or 700) who will ease some of your stuff and can be in queue for you. Also will give you some useful tips
- must book ticket online as in case you get late, your entry will not be denied.
I was with my 5 year daughter and hence can't go to top of this peak in phase 2 but you can easily view LOC from there.
I stayed for one night in near by hotel - Royal Park where I will share my experience there.
But would advice you to stay for a night to experience some really great views in evening and some nature noise in night..

We dint book our tickets online but d guide we met at d hotel was of great help and a big support. The wait was too tiring and ppl were getting annoyed due to which fights kept erupting especially while returning and very poorly managed.d only good thing was d ride. The snow we got at phase1 was too dirty. Much more cn be done to make gondola worth the hype.

We visited Gondola in April and it is a best time to visit Gondola.

Snow clad mountains and shivering cold weather coupled with awesome scenic beauty will surely make your day.

Though a bit expensive since its ticket is Rs.1600 for 2 levels but every money seems to perfectly spent. You wont regret later on.
