We stayed at the Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge in June 2019 and loved it. Everything from the food, the setting to the service were very good, All the rooms are suites and are very large. Each one has a large living area with its own fireplace, a large bedroom and a nice deck. Overall a very good experience and would highly recommend it.More

Every room is a Suite. Every staff member goes the extra mile for you. The room is perfect, you have a living room, fireplace, deck outside and then the amazing room. Food is great too. With the best bread for breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights at the Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge, as part of our Micato safari. The location is stunning, the rooms are fabulous, the service is top-notch. Every meal was delicious, and the staff is incredibly attentive. They delivered hot coffee to our cabin every morning, and came in to light a fire in our bedroom every night. The views are incredible. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Neptune Ngorogoro was our favorite place we stayed during an 8 day safari experience across three parks. All of our accommodations were 5 star resorts or rented camps, but Neptune was by far the best service, food, and lodging.
The rooms are huge, and each have a great view into the canyon below. Elephants grazed in the canyon both evenings we stayed. Having drinks and watching the family of elephants eat was a highlight.
The food and service was unparalleled, especially breakfast. The pastry basket was insane. Don’t skip the homemade chocolate doughnut.
The location was very close to the crater, making for nice safari. And the pool was an awesome spot to have a beer afterwards.
Could not give this place a better review. Stay here if you can!

The suites were spacious and beautifully appointed with a large comfortable porch. The grounds were attractively landscaped. The staff were welcoming, efficient and wanted to make sure everything was to our liking. I highly recommend the Neptune.

I have been to many lodges and camps in East Africa and I have to say that Neptune Ngorongoro is one of the finest there is! The accommodation made of detached cottages and are huge! and very tastefully put together both in design and furnishing. I really liked the "chillout" spaces in the cottages, you have the choice of a living room with a fire place or a large timber deck overlooking the "bush" - in my view this is the height of luxury when you can retreat to your cottage and relax in your own private setting. The bedroom is very comfortable and spacious with charming features like a fire place and a four poster bed.
The service was exceptional, Manoj the General Manger and his team are very professional and friendly. They dealt with all our requests efficiently (eg last minute request to arrange a guide and car to take us to the crater). The food was also great with varied 3 course a la carte menus for lunch and dinner.
The setting is stunning, perched on a hill overlooking a natural forset and a view of the rim of the crater. We also enjoyed having a dip in the pool and massage at the spa after our excusrion to the crater.
It is also very well loacted only a 10 minute drive to the Ngorongoro concervancy and 45 minutes to Lake Manyara and a bit further south is Tarnageri Park.
If you are planning a trip to Ngorongoro I woukd certainly recommend that you traet yourself and stay here.
