Amos and Elli! My friends for life :)
Amos and Elli along with their crew of 10 were with us on this journey from the start right until the end.We did the Lemosho 7 Day route .It did not matter if we needed water or motivation, these guys always had a way to get us all going. They are hardened mountain professionals with the most friendly of faces and earnest of smiles. They checked up on us everyday diligently and not just for the process but, because they wanted us to reach the top.
We had decided not to go with any medication for altitude sickness and our guides supported us in every way they could. The final summit was challenging and i think it's safe to say that had it not been for them, we probably wouldn't have reached the summit. The last bit of mental push they gave us was the difference between us reaching there and otherwise. We laughed, shared stories and life with them. The mountain is unforgiving and tough but, these custodians made it easy was for us.
Acend Tanzania itself was very helpful and professional in the way they handled our bookings. We did not have to worry about a single thing. If I did summon the energy to this again, I'd straight away give a call to Amos

Charles and his Team were great! Everyone was very attentive and accommodating. The food was great. Would highly recommend Charles his Team for a mountain climb.

I did a lot of research before deciding for Ascend. The communication with Syed was easy and He responded very fast and answered all my questions. They offered the MT Meru treck for a good price.
On the Treck itself our Guide Charles was really making sure we are having a good time and helping Out wherever it was needed. The whole Team was amazing. The food cooked by Rashid was really delicious.
At summit night the assistance Guide Max and one of the porters Juma joined us as Well. As my friend Had a Bad cough and got problems with the altitude Max and Juma were looking after her and turning around when she decided to, when Charles and me continued Walking Up to the summit. Charles was motivating me a lot and I am Sure that without him I wouldnt have Made it Up to the summit.
I totally recommend booking with Ascend!

The guides were professional in their conduct with daily health checkups and a calm and organized approach to such a huge challenge.
We went on the Machame route over 7 days and I was impressed at how helpful the team was, even during the toughest moments.
Balanced breakfast, lunch, and dinner were served daily with warm washing water every morning and evening.
A big thank you once again for the good vibes

So many highlights … one of our best holidays ever …hiking through the rainforests on the lower slopes of Meru, climbing through the clouds to the base camp before the final push for the summit and then the amazing feeling after the summit when we dined with ascend team on high altitude fried chicken..
