I cannot say enough good things about Ascend, their team, and our experience. 5 Star in every way. Venance, our guide, and his team of assistant guides, cooks, waiters, and porters could not have been better. Not only did they ensure we were safe, they waited on us like it was the Four Seasons. I felt very comfortable with the level of knowledge about the mountain, our route, and the best chance for us to make it to Uhuru Peak. I would use Ascend again without question.

We have recently returned from our almost one-month lasting holiday in Tanzania and Kenya. One part of our holiday was Kilimanjaro trek by 5 days Marangu Route organized by Ascend Tanzania Moshi. From the first contact with them (Fred Nmwandu), they were very communicative and helped me to organize 5 days Marangu Route. Our guide Lazaro Mungure was amazing experienced mountain guide with high knowledge and competences. He became for us not only guide for 5 days trek but a real friend who has shown us not only the beautiful Kilimanjaro but also a lot of local points of interest. Me and Lazarao we were on the Uhuru Peak as a first on 11th of December 2019 at 6:00 a.m., my wife was waiting for us at Kibo Hut, where we were back at around 9 a.m. What to add more? Big thanks to all team: guide, guide assistant, waiter, cook and all of the porters, who took care of us every minutes of the trek.
