The place is clean and very central. The staff are helpful and at the reasonable prices its ideal for bag packers. Near three of the main clubs and hang out areas. Fantastic ... No complaints. I also like the main dining hall and the food that Michael the head chef cooks is sublime. U have to try the stuffed masala fish .... Oooooof ... Also the rooms are super clean and comfortable ... What more do u need ...

This is an ideal hotel for backpackers or budget travelers in Kisumu. It's conveniently located to some great restaurants and a few night-clubs.

The rooms are very basic. They are clean and have hot showers, but it definitely has that Kenyan budget hotel grimy feeling. A lot of the rooms have TV that shows whatever channel is being played in the bar (first floor), which makes it a great place to relax and watch football in bed with your friends and some cold tuskers. The fourth floor has a cool outside terrace that overlooks the lake.

All the rooms are different, so be sure to check the room first; you could probably ask to go explore the rooms on your own. The ladies that work at the front desk are absolutely hysterical, and totally lad back. If they're in the middle of a conversation, don't be shy to jump in and joke with them.

Room tip: Not all rooms are equal. I think 107 (first floor, down the hall, bend right and then the first room on the left) is amazing. There are some other rooms like that. You are not allowed to squeeze five people in these big rooms, so I suggest two people check in and the others "visit."

Perfectly located in the city centre, making it easy to commute within Kisumu, with views of Lake Victoria. The hotel is manned by a friendly receptionist at all times.

Nice restaurant with a bar and pool table where you can meet the locals. Drinks were very reasonably priced as were the rooms.

The rooms are basic yet very clean and effective.
