This hotel has a very very good location, rooms are excelent and clean. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and th hotel restaurants are actually very good as well.

Hotek staff is very friendly, the only bad experience I had was that I ordered room service late at night and they told me it would be 45 mins and after almost 2 hours and several phone calls saying it would be right there, it never arrived.

I travelled a lot during 2012 and tried several hotels in Caracas. This one was by far the best located (right in La Castellana, where there's plenty of things to do at walking distance). Service, compared to other hotels was way better and very good compared to other Renaissance and Marriott Hotels worldwide. It has inside nice meal and bar options, gym and swimming pool. At the top floors you can have amazing views!

Good alternative in the capital. Located a safe neighborhood, La Castellana, right next to Caracas's main financial district; close to el Ávila and many restaurants. Pretty nice rooms and common areas, hotel outside isn't the best designed but inside is pretty modern. Usually I go to Caracas for weddings, errands and to take my daughter to golf tournaments so I find the location of the Eurobuilding more convinient.

For a business trip this is a pretty good option, primarily due to the location, which is in one of the nicer and safer parts of the city in La Castellana. Gym is adequate although the one at the JW Marriott is nicer. Park nearby is safe and good for an AM run (about 1 km from the hotel). Like all business hotels in Caracas, the hotel is very expensive due to the fact that you are being charged at the official 4.3 exchange rate. Breakfast is adequate and good location for a business meeting. Rooms are decent size and some have very nice views of the city. When I was there one of the elevators was broken unfortunately as it seems they were waiting for a part to arrive, part of the reality in Venezuela. Downstairs bar is another plus. Staff is generally friendly. Internet in the rooms works pretty well.

short business trip to caracas. hotel well sited in the business safe part of the city.
in few minutes (for caracas traffic) it's possible to reach all important business locations of the city.
Pros
clean and silent rooms, service ok
Cons
expensive: minimum 250-300 USD per room/night
breakfast non included in the above fare : 41 USD/day! Amazing
Wi-Fi non included in the above fare : 18 USD/day! Amazing

Room Tip: breakfast and Wi-fi not included in room rate.
