Located within walking distance from main street, yet secluded enough to grant you privacy and the right amount of isolation. Rooms are nice and spacious enough and, most importantly, are always clean. Wi-fi is available free of charge but do not expect it tk be speedy here, as in the rest of the island. The satellite connection requires time to cross the Pacific. Tita is a wonderful and discreet host who prepares nice dinners and wonderful breakfasts while attending to the family and the house. Lionel is a French borne and raised guy whose enthusiasm for the history and archeology of this place caused him to move here from Europe. He will be a wonderful guide who will not sell the old fairy tailes about Moai and how tribal wars and deforestation almost led locals to extintion. We had a slight misunderstanding at the beggining as to how we wanted our tours arranged but Lionel was quick in reorganizing his agenda to accomodate our wishes. Overall a very nice stay

My husband and I stayed at Tita and Lionel's in December 2012. Very spacious and quaint bungalows! We had our own private terrace just outside of our bungalow, great for late afternoon wine and cheese and observing breathtaking sunsets. The rooms were clean and had a lot of fresh towels, but you would have to bring your own soap and shampoo. You can ask Tita for a hair-drier and glasses for water. The service was very personable and helpful. My husband does not speak French so we could not go on a guided tour with Lionel. Lionel, however, organized an English tour on our behalf with a tour guide from New Zealand. Both Lionel and Tita were very helpful in terms of telling us where to go and eat in the village. Tita picks visitors up from the airport and drops them off. We arrived super tired, late in the afternoon after a delayed flight from Santiago due to stormy weather conditions. Tita immediately, after picking us up from the airport, served us coffee and pastries :) The breakfasts were copious. Great and very relaxing place to stay at on Easter Island.

Thank you Tita and Lionel for your welcoming in your very nice pension. We spend one week in this very calm place. Bangalows were very clean, dishes excellent. We enjoy 3 excursions with Lionel around easter Island with very complete explanation about history of the sites we visited.
A very nice place !!
