“Great location with fantastic views”
Reviewed 23 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We stayed in the ground floor and first floor apartment that has 4 bedrooms
Bod Idris is a beautiful house with high ceilings and cornices. Stunning views and great walks over the estuary railway bridge. Easy to walk into Barmouth and the beach. Rooms are large and spacious nicely decorated and accessoried. Would definately stay again.

Just spent 3 nights here with our family, my parents booked it and were all blown away by the stunning views from this house. The rooms were huge and there was so much space for us all to enjoy. A short walk into Barmouth and plenty of parking close by, would highly recommend for families, hope to visit again soon.

“Possibly the best view in Barmouth”
Reviewed 21 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Just back from a fabulous 3 nights stay at Bod Idris, a lovely characterful house evoking the splendour of days gone by with the luxury and convenience of contemporary amenities. The bedrooms are huge with 3 en-suite. Very thoughtfully decorated and very spacious living area which comfortably accommodated our family of eight, giving everyone enough space so as not to fall out.A short walk into Barmouth and the railway bridge for the start of a fabulous cycle ride along the Mawdach Estuary. The unique selling point of Bod Idris, however is the spectacular view of the estuary and out to see. Truly amazing. A very special place, which we hope to visit again soon.

“Magical!”
Reviewed 19 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Had the most amazing time with family at this place. It was booked for a surprise celebration and it did not disappoint! The size of the property gave us all freedom within and the kids loved exploring the rooms. The views are stunning and all of us spent time each day wowing at the changes of the scenery as the lighting changed. The property is well located and we enjoyed lovely walks into the town and across the bridge and the surrounding areas.
I would definitely book here again and found the owner to be accommodating and helpful when needing support.
A simply magical experience

“Really good accommodation with wonderful views”

We had a lovely long weekend break in October for half term - accommodation standard was very good, the views amazing and so much to do in and around the area (even though it was late October, the weather was excellent which helped - might have been more challenging had it rained the whole time!). The owner was extremely helpful, friendly, accommodating and indeed flexible when we were making the arrangements for booking etc which was very welcome indeed. Accommodation was well kept and spacious - no trouble in putting up the six of us (3 adults, 3 children). Would definitely recommend and hopefully come back ourselves.
