“Good Location”
Reviewed 31 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

This cottage is well located, near the shore, shops and restaurants also close to a large Tesco. It is a great location to stay with parking at the front door. Upstairs are two large bedrooms - a double and a twin, which were warm and very comfortable. It was very peaceful with no disturbance from outside. The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep. Downstairs is a small lounge with an electric fire, but this is supplemented by a spacious conservatory for the warmer months and a very pleasant garden. The bathroom has a good electric shower and the kitchen has a lot of accessories for those, who actually want to cook, which we did. We had a lot of bad weather but were cosy in the cottage.

“Serene cottage”
Reviewed 31 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Such a lovely stay again at this cottage. We never moved out of the conservatory for the whole five days as it was so peaceful. Spotlessly clean, rustic, charming and homely. The ideal place to stay and we're looking to book again already.

“A great place to have as a base”
Reviewed 14 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We had a very enjoyable time the cottage was comfortable, clean and all amenities are close by. It's a great base to explore the north of mainland Scotland.

“Comfortable cottage in great location.”

This is a comfortable cottage, well equipped and in a great location. It has the advantage of a large sunroom and a covered outdoor area overlooking the garden. Although our week was a mixture of rain, wind, a patch of blue sky, rain, wind, a glimpse of the sun, and more rain this didn't deter too much from walks in the mountains and by the sea. It was great to come back to a warm cottage and get our clothes dry for the next day's outdoor activities.

“Home from home cottage warm and comfortable”

Holly Cottage was warm and welcoming. A perfect base for exploring the area and plenty of space for damp walking gear.
Lots of space and light with the added bonus of being right in town close to the shops etc.
It was good to not have to turn up at a specified time having the key safe- meant we could stay out on a sunny day
We would definitely stay there again.
