“Great Location and Accomodations”
Reviewed 6 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We really enjoyed our time at the Manse. We used it as a base of operations for over a week and it was ideal. Convenient to the train in Stroud and close enough for day trips to Wells, Bath and of course the Cotswolds.

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Manse Retreat, it was a true home from home.
The retreat' had everything we needed and was very clean and welcoming!
Easy to find and within easy reach of some lovely countryside in the Cotswolds!!
We will definitely be looki9ng to stay again, as we thoroughly enjoyed it, but didn't have long enough. Thanks again Jackie.

“Lovely Flat in a beautiful part of the country!”
Reviewed 5 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Cracking stay in Nailsworth, the flat is lovely and was perfect for us and our 8 month old. The place was very clean and well specced and is a great base to see such a nice part of the country. Jackie was very prompt in confirming the booking and answering our questions, thanks for a great stay! Would definitely stay there again!

“Delightful”
Reviewed 31 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

This is a delightful little place. I highly recommend staying here.

It was clean, warm and cosy and the decor was lovely. I spent a great deal of time researching the local area for the right place to stay and was attracted by the pictures, reviews and the reasonable price and wasn't let down.

The sofa was larger than it looked in the picture and was super comfy. The set up of the open plan living area made great use of the space. The kitchen had everything we needed (from utensils, tea and coffee to dishwasher tablets, cleaning products and plenty of coasters!) and I was able to prepare a little meal on the first night for our friends who were visiting from South Africa and staying with family locally. The bedroom was lovely and had a little comfy chair that we were able to pop next door into the living area for additional seating. The bathroom was also nice with a little cupboard with a washer/dryer. The shower was easy to use.

The Old Manse Retreat is next door to the beautiful main residence and landscaped front garden and even though it was above the garage, we couldn't hear anything. The owners had the perfect balance of being friendly and approachable but still maintaining the feeling of privacy as well. Off road parking was a bonus.

I also brought my five year old daughter along for the trip and she had a fabulous time. She can be quite a sensitive soul when staying away from home but it was clear from the start that she felt very safe and at home immediately - probably due to the homely feel of the place.

I would definitely visit again and highly recommend staying here!
