Our booking with Vivian was made by another B&B owner who could not accommodate us for extra nights. In retrospect, how good it was not to have moved on from the area! Our stay with Vivian was akin to staying with family. Vivian is a wonderful host. Breakfast in Vivian's kitchen presented a table loaded with fresh and home-cooked fruits, any cereal you may need as well as home-cooked jams and home-cooked fresh bread. Our rooms was extremely spacious and comfortable with views over the front garden towards the lovely little Turkdean church. Sadly, we needed to move on after three nights, towards London and then home to Australia. If only we could still be in Turkdean! We unreservedly recommend Yew Tree Cottage to anyone contemplating a stay in the Cotswolds, and especially if you like friendly four-footed friends as well. Big pats to Atticus, Bea and Bumble! Thank you Vivian. Kind regards Kaye. Australia.

Beautiful house, decorated rooms and garden. Vivien was very accommodating of our needs and the cooked breakfast was delicious. Everything was in excellent condition.
I would definitely recommend a stay here

We booked online with Vivien Burford, owner and manager. Stayed for three nights (our second visit to the Cotswolds from California). Ideal location for touring the small villages and historic sites in the Cotswolds, as long as you learn to drive the narrow roads. Inviting hostess, great dogs, wonderful yard, charming room, fantastic breakfast each morning.

Room tip: Two rooms, one with en suite bath, one without but very close and large.

We had a lovely stay in this B&B in September 2011 and we were back again in July 2015.
We had a marvellous time cycling in the country side and had again two meals in Vivian's cosy kitchen.
The meals were very tastfull; we had a lovely evening with Vivian.
She really is a very good hostess and a very good cook.
About cycling in the neighbourhood, we have to say you need to be in very good shape and have to be a trained cyclist; your bike needs to have enough speedgear to climb the steep hills there. Otherwise it can be dangerous.
The surrounding is very beautifull, also for walking.
We are sure this was not the last time we visited Vivian in beautifull cottage.

Located in the tiny hamlet of Turkdean, this wonderful B & B with beautifully maintained gardens is idyllically located without being isolated. Vivien welcomes you to her entire house and accommodates all reasonable requests. Read the website to understand the location and facilities. One night we were treated to an unusual "Floral Choral Evensong at the beautifully decorated tiny church across the street.
