We stayed with family and friends at Teal House and had a wonderful holiday. It's close to everything in Lyme so highly convenient and a beautiful property. The owner was helpful and very pleasant. One or two aspects of the house were not quite right (missing knobs and broken step on bunk bed). But these are minor points. You wont be disappointed if you stay here
Fantastic location 2 mins from the seafront and perfect for local cafes, restaurants, shops and fish & chips.
The house doesn’t look much from the street but is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The garden at the back is great too and surprisingly large.
Mark sorted out parking passes for us in the nearby car park ( 2 mins walk away) and we unloaded outside the house then parked up and didn’t need the car again! Lots to do in Lyme - a lovely unspoilt seaside town. Fossil hunting particularly amazing.
Mark very easy to contact and helpful.
Thanks for a lovely few days.
We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Fabulous location within walking distance of everything - carpark, shops, restaurants, beach and fish & chips! The house is a comfortable home from home and the garden was a bonus. Would love to stay again!
Celebrating a family birthday, seven of us felt really at home from the moment that we arrived. The house was great for our needs, but the bonus was the garden terrace and outside dining area, and with temperatures in the mid twenties, we took full advantage.
Teal house is tucked away in a quiet backstreet just 2 minutes walk from the Eastern end of the Cobb. On first site it really looks nothing much and the fact there is no parking may also be off putting.
Don't be fooled. It is a lovely little place but still large and comfortable enough to accommodate a good size family or group. It is well equipped in all respects and at no point did we want for anything including space.
The parking passes allowed us to park 2 mins walk away in the opposite direction to the sea and whilst Lyme was quite quiet when we were there I can imagine this car parking facility to be invaluable during the summer months. Loading and unloading the car didn't prove an issue at all as it is a fairly quiet street.
Lyme Regis is an unspoilt English seaside town and refreshingly friendly. Just enough shops with plenty of quality independent traders. Well served with a great range of places to eat and drink from, of course Fish and Chips to highly rated vegetarian restaurants.
We loved the place and will certainly return.
