Every time you think you have seen the most beautiful parador in Andalusia there is more beauty to come. Carmona beats it all! The view from the balcony is stunning; the long corridors and tiled floors make you feel castle lord and lady. The walk to the 'city' centre is only minutes and enchanting. The little town itself is still relatively unspoiled, you are part of the community life after siesta when you sit on a terrace at the main square for a bone dry sherry and olives.
The bed is all right, so is the bathroom, no great luxury but fit for purpose. Breakfast will allow you to skip lunch. The swimming pool is rather far away, if you really want to swim instead of strolling through the narrow streets. International newspapers are missing, that's a pity. A hospitality tray would be nice, the interior is ever so slightly outdated but who cares. The overall impression is very good!More
