Great hotel , with a really grand design. When I arrived the lady was so welcoming , helpful and friendly.
My room had lots of space. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. I had a great stay.

The villa is located close to the city center and on the way to the ski slopes. Its architecture is very nice outside and it is a pity that inside you will find a mixture of great old stuff and unfortunate choice new chip materials. The owner is very nice and helpful (she had a holiday collapsible bad for our baby). Inside is quiet and cozy.

The off street parking, setting & the house entrance are perfect. We had a suite which was a cold damp couple of rooms under the main house with a bath that leaked. Stay in the house. The breakfast is good, based on eggs with meats, cheeses & salad. The breakfast room is lovely with painted windows & ceiling. The walk into town is short & pleasant.

What a nice old home and very friendly people running it. Showed us to town with great suggestions on things to do in the evening and places to eat. Upgraded us to room with en suite bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Why not a 5? No screens on the windows and with mosquitoes we could not leave the windows open. Then the dogs outside. Barked all night.

Vila Retezat is a wonderful place in Sinaia. The hotel is full of stained glass and old furniture. The place does not remarks for their services but the staff is hospitable. Enjoy your trip at Vila Retezat. You won't regret!
