In October 2017, I wrote about dining here several times; so when we returned repeatedly in March 2018, we were curious to see if the Taverna do 8 o 80 had maintained its quality. I'm pleased to conclude that it has indeed continued to excel. There is no denying that, by Portuguese standards, this restaurant is expensive. However, the price pales in comparison to other resort areas in Europe, the Caribbean, Hawaii, etc. The view of the sun setting over the Atlantic is a wonderful accompaniment to dinner. Beatrix and her serving colleagues are extremely welcoming, attentive and full of helpful suggestions while visiting Nazare and Lisbon. The food is consistently delicious. So, although there are many other establishments in Portugal offering cheaper meals, this still gets my vote as one of my favourites. We'll certainly be back repeatedly when we return to Nazare in the not-too-distant future.
