Owner description: We love welcoming guests from all over the world to the first home of Bill and Hillary Clinton and where they were married. The Museum is situated in the beautiful Ozark Mountains in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This home has a special place in local, national, and international history. Bill Clinton took Hillary Rodham's hand in marriage 17 years before he would be elected President. The home's series of owners also have deep roots in local Arkansas history. The museum houses memorabilia of Clinton's early political career, including his campaigns for US House of Representatives and Arkansas Attorney General. Temporary and timely exhibits cover the history of Secretary Clinton's life in public service and her time in Arkansas. The collections include a faithful replica of Hillary's wedding dress and a timeline of the Clinton years in Fayetteville. Our museum store has books related to the Clinton legacy, Arkansas history, Arkansas politics, and the culture of the Ozarks. We also have mementos, gifts, and more for a keepsake of your visit. The Museum is open to the public and donations are welcome.

This is a delightful glimpse into the lives of one of the most interesting and famous political couples of our lifetimes. Given all the political attacks, dare I say Lies, that have been told about the Clintons, it is healthy to see a bit of the truth: here is history of a high achieving, brilliant young couple in love.
The museum is well done, but don't expect a glossy and expensive presentation. Most of what you see here is on loan from friends of the Clintons. They married in this house and lived in Fayetteville for many years. They have an amazing number of devoted friends here, because the Clintons are wonderful people. Really wonderful.

Absolutely loved visiting the house Bill bought for Hillary. Not only is the house itself charming, the guide was fabulous and the garden in the back is so peaceful.

We were traveling with our children, so we didn't stay too long, but it was fascinating to imagine a young Bill and Hillary getting married in this tiny house and starting their family life, as well as political life there. We're not fans of the Clintons, but I still thought the home was a very interesting spot. A reproduction of Hillary's wedding dress is there - this is especially interesting if you go on to the Clinton Presidential Library - her wedding dress was super simple compared to the grand dresses she wore later in life. The First Lady's garden out back was my children's favorite spot, although the day was so toasty that we kept that fairly short too. Definitely worth a few minutes' time if you are in the area!

This is a fun place to visit for a slice of Arkansas history. You can park in the Clinton’s former driveway, take photos with the painted Razorback hog in the front yard and the cardboard cut outs of Bill and Hillary in the living room, get a wonderful guided walking tour from a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, and then relax in the backyard First Ladies Garden!

There is no charge to visit this historic house that a young University of Arkansas law school professor named Bill Clinton bought to convince his girlfriend, another young law professor, Hillary Rodham, that he was committed to their future together. The living room, where Bill and Hillary were married, contains a replica of the dress that Hillary wore on that day in 1975. There was only one owner of the house after the Clintons moved out in 1976, until it became the property of the University of Arkansas. It has been beautifully maintained. Our tour guide, David, did a great job of sharing the house and its history with us. Be sure to take a picture of the house with the decorated Razorback pig in the front yard. The gravel parking lot will accommodate a few cars.
