We only stayed one night. It was a stop over from touring the Boyne River Valley attactions. The next morning we were head to the airport to return our car. The hostess was very accommodating. There was a mix up in reservation that had us in two twin beds. When she realized we were a couple, she offered us a family room which was larger and had a double bed. The place was very clean. The bath was on the small size but good. Breakfast was very good.

We stayed two nights here. The entire house was very neat and clean. Nora, the host was wonderful. She went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and indivually cooked. This house is well situated for the Boyne Valley sights. We would stay here again. The pictures on Trip Advisor are accurate.

Hotels = consistency, but the majority are impersonal. If done right, going to a B+B should be like visiting your aunt. This is what Nora's Meadow View felt like for us.

The bedroom was heaven for the girls (pink walls I believe), a queen for mom and daughter, while I slept on the double beside them. Lots of room for cars in the parking lot, a great Irish breakfast in the morning and a wonderful host. We tried not to make much noise, but the giggles got the best of us. Luckily we weren't that much of a bother. The grounds around her B+B were immaculate. The showers and en suite bathrooms very nice.

The only slight thing worth mentioning to watch for, is the fact that as this is a converted home, there is no lift in the building. Stairs are the only way to get to the second floor. To be expected, but worth a mention, nonetheless

All in all, a wonderful overnight sojourn. We were on our way to the Newgrange tombs the next day and this B+B was a perfect pick.

Highly recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed the hospitality of the Meadow View B&B on our recent trip to Ireland. Beautiful home and a very gracious hostess. We stayed in the detached guest house which was very spacious and well appointed. Enjoyed tea and apple tart on the patio after a busy day sightseeing. There was a pub in walking distance. Highly recommend this beautiful B&B.

Gracious and comfortable bed and breakfast. Centrally located to all the sites north of Dublin. Nora is the best hostess and provides a true full irish breakfast. Close to town and great pubs, Wish we could have stayed longer. Would love to come back. Thank you Nora.
