I know, that sounds crazy, but I swear it's true...and the scallops were amazing, too! The staff is so friendly and kind as well! I WILL go back some day.

The Fleet Inn came highly recommended by family, so we called in for bar food. To be honest, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, and we ordered more food than we could manage as even the starters were a hearty size. The seafood was especially good, all served by such a professional, competent and hospitable young man, he really is a credit to the place. We were the first dinner guests, but in only half and hour the place was packed, a sure sign of quality food. I didn´t like the decor of the bar, it was a bit dark and masculine for my liking, but that is just a matter of taste.

We eat in the fleet on a regular basis. This is without doubt the best food in killybegs. Choice of food is second to none. Geraldine and the staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. At times I require certain food due to surgery and the staff have never a problem accommodating this. Good value for money, nice staff and great food on every occasion.

Would advise to book ahead if you want to eat in the restaurant as it was fully booked so we took a table in the bar which was also relatively busy. The service was good and the food was excellent. In particular the scallops, the chowder and the steak sandwich were all really tasty. Would definitely eat here again.

We paid our return visit to the Fleet Inn on a weeks holiday in a rather wet Donegal in August.
Despite the inclement weather the holiday was made complete with three visits to the Fleet Inn in Killybegs.
We had two visits to the restaurant and once again the welcome was warm and personal, the meals were the best we have ever had, the fish perfectly cooked accompanied by fresh organic vegetables and very moreish potatoes. Desserts are very difficult choose from as they all need to be sampled ;), house wines are balanced and delicate.
The efficency of Geraldine and her staff is second to none, service is prompt, and flowing, despite being extremely busy on our visits.
A must place to visit, booking highly recommended.
We also had pub grub on one of the evenings the restaurant was closed, again the food was restaurant standard, service was excellent, and price was very reasonable. The ambience is warm and welcome genuine.
