Our biggest disappointment regarding this hotel was that we could not stay longer. The rooms were very clean and wonderfully appointed. The decor of the hotel is extremely pleasing both inside and out. The only drawback is that it is not close to town, but it's location in a residential/rural area gives it it's own charm.

George (of George's Taxis) recommended this hotel to us for our one night stay near the Meteora, and we're glad he did as it's a lovely place. Very cosy in the winter (December). The staff are very welcoming and helpful; breakfast was abundant; the beds comfortable; great showers. And the owners also have a restaurant in town that serves gorgeous Bean Soup!
We thoroughly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the monasteries.

We recently spent the night at this Guesthouse below the beautiful Monestaries in Meteora, Greece. The hospitality was outstanding. The rooms impeccable... the breakfast ample. I would certainly recommend this Guesthouse to anyone. We ate at their restaurant the Panellinion and the food was superb !...Some of the best we had eaten in Greece. Our hired driver Dimitrius from George's Famous taxi chose the place...

Only stayed one night here but the place is comfortable and well worth the money. Basically, there is nothing but hotels in the towns surrounding Meteora, so each hotel has stiff competition.

Location:
It has great views of the mountains and is very close to Meteora. However, it is not close to any local shops and seems to have only a couple of restaurants nearby, although it is a small town and the shops would likely have been closed anyway.

Hotel Amenities:
Rooms come with bathrobes and slippers. Doesn't have wifi but offers a LAN line. The room is very nice and big with a balcony, and comes with a safe, a fridge, and a coffee-maker -- one of the only hotels in Greece that comes with one. Also has air-conditioning and heater (but you may have to request it be turned on). The room is also decorated quite well and looks lush with dark wood floors and wardrobe. The bathroom is decorated in black and white tiles -- basically it is decorated quite lushly and you will not be disappointed. However, the rooms are quite dark. The area is very quiet, or it may be that the walls are very thick, because the guesthouse had music playing in the halls, but it couldn't be heard inside the rooms.

Staff:
Very friendly and SMILEY receptionist (also not that common in Greece) who saw that we had some tour books and offered some history books on the area for us to peruse. She also was very helpful and friendly in our inquiries as to our problems with our SIM card, even going so far as to search online for us. Also, she allowed us to have our choice of rooms, letting us look in on two rooms and choosing the one we preferred.

Breakfast:
It was low season and so we were served at our table -- breakfast was only okay, juice or coffee, bread and four slices of deli meat and cheese. Not sumptuous but passable.
