We enjoyed the museum of Villeroy and Boch. Even my husband who didn't really want to see dinnerware found it very interesting. And it isn't just dinnerware. Villeroy & Boch has much more to it than cups and plates. The video was very informative and entertaining, well worth seeing, before or after you tour the museum. The museum is a wonderful history of the company and all the different ways they have used ceramics.

Thank you for your visit lost_in_itasca. In the Keravision with the Museum of Ceramics more than two and a half centuries of company history including significant epochs of world history merge into atmospheric and contemporary images. The variety of wonderful colors, forms and décors can be experienced within. Also worth seeing in this regard is the permanent exposition “Anna and Eugène Boch – From the beginnings of modernity”.

Very interesting and intelligent content! You can have a lot of information about the history of V&B and take a look on really special and rare items.
If you are interested in Villeroy&Boch company culture and porcelain as well, I strongly reccomend you to spend several hours here.
Take note that V&B outlet center is only few steps away from Erlebniszentrum and I am sure you will be interested to spend some euros there ;-))

A nice place to visit (but not with too young children :) ) as besides an interesting 20 minute movie they have a large display of different types of porcelain.

Dear Prinsenhof,

thank you for your visit. For children (4 years and older) we offer painting of Villeroy & Boch plates and cups! That is fun for the whole family.
See you soon in Mettlach.

The Museum located here is more than a value at any price. My Great Grandmother was gien a stein for her wedding gift. It was made here and the staff was very kind and took the time to research the stein and the painter. That stein is in my living room.
