This is a National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) which has been bought and paid for with money from the sales of Federal Duck Stamps. This NWR that is located in SE Arkansas near the town of Crossett. It was established to conserve, maintain and manage wildlife, resources and habitat within the refuge. This refuge offers many things to do like hunting, fishing, camping and photographic opportunities. The refuge also offers hiking trails, canoeing/kayaking and a very nice visitor/interpretation center. Bring your family, children, camera and enjoy what this part of SE Arkansas has to offer.
