If you can afford it, you have to do this as your intro to the Grand Canyon!!!!! Seriously can’t imagine a better experience for our mixed age group. With the youngest being 11 and the eldest being 73, this was the perfect way to see the GC. Yes, sights, views and places were explored were perfect, but the real gem of the tour was our driver/guide, the German Gem WERNER...he is the best! He’s funny, outgoing, extremely interactive and, most importantly, very knowledgeable. His personality meshed perfectly with ours and he wasn’t annoyed by all of my 72 year old fathers questioning (hahaha). So, if you’re on the fence as to a Pink Jeep Tour or this one...do not think twice, this is it! There are several advantages to this particular company. For one thing, it’s the only tour company allowed to enter through the back forest which was almost as beautiful and amazing as the GC and the tour guides are much more flexible to accommodate their guests unlike the Pink Jeep Tour’s strict rules/guidelines. I could go on, but it’s easy to tell from my review that this, extremely critical and often judgy (when it comes to getting what I paid for) gal was thrilled with the entire experience!!!!

We had a great tour. We drove through the forest in our Jeep. Our guide, Werner, was so knowledgeable and entertaining. He pointed out the wildlife and historical sites. Plus, he took great photos of our family. This tour was really fun.

We love a good tour for our family. This ranks high up on our list of tour experiences. Our tour guide, Werner, was exceptional. His knowledge of geology, the plants, animals, and Native Americans, was very good, and he clearly loves GC and sharing it with others. He took us in some shorts walks at our stops and took family photos for everyone, and shared history of the area and development. The seats were comfortable in the trucks and they offered blankets as the temps got cooler. Highly recommend this tour!

How to begin? Best tour decision ever made. We don't usually pay for tours as we like to do things on our own. It was not cheesy. The jeep was comfortable...but do expect a bumpy ride off-road. Some people didn't show up, so ended up being our own private tour with the 2 of us. Sheila was incredible! Very smart and knowledgeable about the National Forests and the Park. Excellent information about the trees, foliage, rocks, animals and of course, trails and the canyon. But not nerdy or like taking a class. She was very passionate about nature and lively and fun. Being with her was like making a new friend. She will show you the most incredible views of the canyon, breathtaking. It was sunset and the weather was cool. You will leave feeling like you got to experience a treasure trove of the Canyon. Going through the forest was an experience most do not get to see. I recommend to ANYONE going to the canyon, at any age. Please ask for Sheila!

Our guide, Colleen, was absolutely fantastic! She blended history, native culture, geology, and personal stories with the natural beauty of one of the 7 wonders of the world. As a first encounter of the Grand Canyon for my family I could not have dreamed of a better experience. Absolutely worth every penny. One recommendation, be sure to dress for the weather, the vehicle is an open-air Jeep. They do provide blankets, but having layers to keep warm or cool helps.
