“For the size of the town, this hotel is excellent!”

- We stopped here on our way from Tucson to Moab. The location is absolutely excellent for getting an early morning start on a long drive.

- You also get more for your money by staying at this hotel then at a similarly priced one in Flagstaff (I've done that before, and this is MUCH better).

- The hotel, including the rooms) is decorated with a Navajo theme, and everything was clean and comfortable.

- The service was excellent, and we were able to easily book a room online the morning of.

- Instead of a continental breakfast, they give a coupon good for either a free breakfast plate or $6 off any other breakfast menu item of your choice. This is a much better breakfast than most continental breaskfast options I've seen.

- You have to specifically request a room with a microwave/refrigerator combo, as not all rooms come with them.

Room Tip: You have to specifically request a room with a microwave/refrigerator combo if you want it, as not a...

This hotel is located within Tuba City (up the main road past the KFC). As you drive through the town (city?), you immediately wonder what this hotel is like. Well, only slightly better than you think! It is only "ok", and looks like it needs renovation. It is no where near 100 plus dollar/night room elsewhere! I think it's because there are only 2 (4?) good hotels in this small town. The room is good size with high ceilings, average bathroom....that's about it. The "free breakfast" is a voucher for the restaurant next door. The size of the free breakfast is so small, you wonder what the 100/night is going too - not the breakfast for sure! I would recommend the other hotel (listed as #1) since that hotel is located on the main highway, it is very new and fresh looking, plus there is a Denny's next door. I don't recommend this hotel at the price, but if you can get it for 50/night, then it's worth it.

My sister and I stayed here for one night while traveling from Colorado to the Grand Canyon. We had a room right near the lobby and although it was very busy the room was almost soundproof. The beds were extremely comfortable. We would have stayed a second night if they had been able to provide a room with two beds but all they had available for the second night was a room with a King or 1 Queen bed. The only complaint we had was that the carpet was badly stained but otherwise the room was very clean. Lots of fluffy , comfortable pillows on the bed. Best sleep we had during a 3 1/2 week trip.

Tuba city is a little town on the road for the Monument Valley. Is completely rounded by the desert. We spent one night here coming back from the Monument Valley. The trip takes almost 2 hours at night and it is a strong experience both for the landscape (beautiful) and for the lonelyness (incredible). The Hotel is really new and the personnel is well informed and kind. The rooms are large and the air conditioner works very well. There's also a swimming pool but it was too hot to try this! This is a good place to spend one night and to recover the energies. Reach the hotel after the view of the sunset in the Monument Valley was not so easy, because the road is isolated and the night is really dark, but the view of the stars is definetly amazing.

This hotel is nothing special, but we thought the location was an interestng spot. We would have rated this as a three star hotel rather than two star, and the $118 we paid for a standard room (incl breakfast) seemed about right.

The hotel is in the small Navajo town of Tuba City: convenient for us as we were 1/2 way from the Grand Canyon to Monument Valley. The only annoyance here was the panhandlers at the gas station: get yiur gas elsewhere. There is an interestg Navajo Museum right adjacent to the hotel, and displays of the history of the place in the Hotel itself.

The room was just OK. Generous size, clean bathroom that worked, and good old fashioned fittings: hot tap and cold tap. We like that! It looked onto an internal grassed area, pleasant enough and a green change from the rest of Tuba City. Pretty basic furnishings but functional, and good room lighting. Bed was king size and a good night sleep.

Breakfast included was pretty basic, a choice of about three dishes, or $6 per person off the check. That covered about 1/2 what we (two) paid. Others have commented about the service, which was generally slow and perfunctory.
