My wife and children voted this hotel the best hotel of our entire Arizona trip.

It had the most comfortable beds and blankets. The most user friendly bathroom. Free WIFI. Above average breakfast spread. And the lowest price. And a free soda fountain and a free pop corn making machine to keep the kids happy.

It may not be near the city centre. But it is right off the I17 so it is really an excellent choice for a road trip.

Went on a family vacation with kids and grandkids and this hotel was ideal. Very clean and comfortable rooms. We arrived at midnight and our 2 rooms were non-smoking and together, as requested. Breakfast and happy hour was a bonus and worked out well, especially for the grandkids. Shopping center is close by with a Wal-Mart, movie theaters, restaurants, etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a good experience and would be happy to stay there again.

For the amount of money we paid to stay there this past weekend, I was kinda disappointed. We got to our room and noticed on the couch was crusted (I hope it was) food on all the cushions. We had to turn them over to sit down. We didnt have enough towels for 3 people. The dinner was ok, but was told on the website there would be chicken, no chicken. The adult drinks were so watered down you couldn't even taste the alcohol . According to the website, this hotel had an indoor pool, (one reason why we chose this hotel) and when we got there, it was partly inclosed. The water was freezing. Kids were running and splashing and staff would walk by and not do a thing. The breakfast was ok. Some food was just not good at all. Also the oj was warm. Also when we wanted to watch tv, all the stations were staticy.

The beds were comfortable, and the front desk staff was great. I would probably not come back to this hotel.

We were there in late March for spring training and to see some other attractions. I booked here because of the other Tripadvisor positive reviews and concur that is it very good value for the money.

A newer property which is nice, and as such flat screens and wi-fi. The free local calls and 1 hr of LD calls per night also handy. Each night they have a "Kickback" event so free sift drinks, liquor and food in the same area where the free beakfasts are. Quite well done as nachos, hotdogs, mac & cheese, veggies, so hard to argue as it is free. A bit more variety would be good, but I wouldn't recommend eating there each night, so serves the intended purpose.

Exercise area fairly small & basic, and pool on the small side too, so if you & your kids really want that than this may not be a good fit. We stayed at the Drury 5 nights, then did 2 nights at the Arizona Grand Resort so the latter fulfilled our desire to have some awesome pool/waterslide time.

Staff accomodating, and eventhough property filed to the brim with baseball players & their families I thought they did a good job keeping on top of the breakfasts and housecleaning. Area by check in desk with 2 computers and a common printer so that is always nice.

Location wise, easy access off the 101, but truly it is very North of Phoenix (on border of Happy Valley), so if you want to be central not ideal. Nice mall 1 exit north (can access via street so don't need to get back on the highway), and also Applebees & many other restaurants to pick from.

Rooms quite spacious. We had the suite, so 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds 7 flat screen TV, and another main area with a pull-out coach and it's own TV which is a bonus. Fridge in our room a bonus & bathrooms did the trick too as newer & quite clean. Nice to get a USA Today & breakfasts more than sufficient, and again free, so overall we were all quite pleased.

Hope that is helpful, and we would certainly stay there again in Phoenix if we wanted to be based north of the city.

Room Tip: As just 2 elevators, try to be on a lower floor so you don't need to wat as much.

Newer Drury Inn, with all of the typical Drury amenities, including free hot breakfast, dinner and evening drinks. Perhaps the most efficient front desk clerk in recent memory...so speedy she could probably do training for the rest of the chain.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Room beefs included cleaning standards: we found a used Q-tip on the floor under the sink and a used Band-Aid (yuck) stuck to the "Welcome to Drury" card on the desk. Troublesome free wireless Internet--there are 3 Drury networks that pop up as available, but only 1 is the free wireless, and it's not clear which. Don't bank on reading a complimentary newspaper unless you're a late sleeper...the hotel didn't have them out until 8:30 on a weekday. And don't count on jogging over to a nearby gas station or convenience store...there are none. The hotel is in an area where real estate deals never developed, with an office building next-door, and blocks and blocks of dry, dusty lots all around.
