“Never seen so many beautiful waterfalls in a 3 hour tour”

We went on the chiva tour to the waterfalls, this is a open bus. The waterfalls and the surroundings are magnificent !!! It cost USD 8,-
At each waterfall you can go by cablecar to the waterfall for about 1 or 1,50 USD.
you can also go canopy, then you fly to the waterfall but none of us dared to do so.
We also hiked down to one waterfall (also 1 USD entrance) it was a beautiful hike but you need to be in good condition for the climb back up.
The total tour cost you about 12,- USD which I think is worth it.
But if you go on a jungletour like we did then you drive by the waterfalls again and if you want they will stop.
I can highly recommend to go on a jungletrip if you have the time, we went on a trip for 2 days, which was short but it was absolutly great. We went with Eduardo he has his own touroparation called Ecuama adventure and he made the trip a lifetime experience, he speaks good English. The tour was with privite car just for the 4 of us and the driver was so enthusiastic it was his second time to do the tour and he loved it just as much as we did. We stayed with indigenous people and experienced there way of living. It was a big adventure !!!

one of the main attractions in banos' surrounds - the route of the waterfalls. you can hire a bike, a buggy, a taxi, go in a local bus or take a chiva tour. there are many places to stop and explore along the way, including wonderful waterfalls to get up close and personal with, hiking trails, zip lining and bridge swinging. there are also many restaurants along the way so there's no need to take lunch with you.
