during a tour we met a fisher whom wife owns the restaurant in town. First, the food is fresh but it it the cheapest place in town to eat king crab. Ask for the full one to ensure that it is fresh. Here and others restaurant, the crab is frozen if you take crab plates

After a terrible experience in the high priced place 2 blocks away, we decided to try our luck at El Viejo Marino. It is a basic place, nothing fancy but great king crab, well prepared. The waitress explained us how to open the legs and eat the meat. Delicious!
When we asked if we should order 2 or 3 king crabs for 5 they told us that 2 will do and they were right. No overselling. Very reasonable priced. The place to go for king crab (centolla austral)

We were recommended this restaurant by one of our guides and we were very glad we followed his lead. It's basic inside, so don't go all dolled up, but the food is very good and if you specify the size of the Beagle Beer I ordered, you won't get a big and pricey bottle that I had to leave most of (it was lunchtime and we had lots more to see and do that day). We had a mixed seafood platter to share and it looked so good that a party of Canadians who came in from a cruise ship ordered the same dish.
Excellent content, moderate presentation.
