a wine themed hotel in good location, great staff , nice breakfast and a lovely wine bar. Close to entertainment area and aprox 15 minute walk to main square. Stayed there twice and would definitely use again

Very pleasant staff, good English spoken, very helpful, Good breakfast, a well maintained property. Bedrooms were good. I had a group of 8 people and all were very pleased. We loved the patios and the grounds but it was too cold for swimming! Very well located to restaurants, bars and main Plaza. There is a beautiful Artesania Shop attached to hotel. I

Room Tip: Tannat downstairs off courtyard, quiet and good if you have knee, hip problems

I love small boutique hotels and this one is charming. It has a small gift shop and a wine shop. It is close to various squares without being in the middle of it all. We like quieter areas and this worked well for us (being off the main square areas). You could walk everywhere from here. Some great restaurants nearby too. The best part of it all was Fabiana, at the front desk. She was very sweet and attentive to our questions and needs. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast with fresh breads and interesting jams, marmalades and compotes. We had a lovely view of the courtyard, pool area. The street view may have been noisier.

Room Tip: We had a room that faced the back and the courtyard which helped a lot to muffle the street noise.

Nicely appointed little hotel in a very convenient location. They put us on the 3rd floor, and there are no elevators. Not very convenient for older people. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Parking can be a problem. There are 2 spots right in front of the hotel, and that is it.

Room Tip: Third floor rooms are not that great.

This hotel is nearly there, but there are still many details that should be improved.
First, the positive aspects: location is excellent (near the restaurants and bars on Balcarce, and a few blocks away from the city center), the property is pleasant (it’s an old mansion) and the wine concept is interesting (there is also a small wine shop).
In my opinion, however, the hotel is overpriced. The room, and specially bathroom, could be renovated in order to have a true boutique feel. Breakfast could also be improved, with more fresh items and better presentation (like having the fruits cut and the eggs actually warm). And, please, change the TV channel in the breakfast room: sensationalist “news” about murders and disasters is not the best way to start the day.
